He lost his iPad

This is why I love my job. Today the parents of a resident came to visit. After spending some quality time with their son, it was time to say goodbye. But before leaving they stopped by at my office because mom wanted to know if I could help her son out. “Well”, she said, “He lost his iPad. We looked all over but couldn’t find it!” I was thinking, “darn it, I hate when their electronics get misplaced.” I asked her when he last had it and she told me earlier today. I reassured her then it had to be in his room somewhere and that I would go immediately to help him find it. The mom seemed happy and the parents left. I made my way to the resident’s room and knocked, then entered. The lights were off and he was lying on the bed taking a nap. I guessed the visit with mom and dad wore him out. I then ask him about his iPad. He said not a word. With a flat affect, he rolled his eyes, took off his glasses and handed them to me. I was confused until I looked down at his glasses in my hand. His glasses was missing one of the eye pads!! 🤣😂
